Pre Christmas Celebrations

Candace, Jared and Taylee headed to St. George on Wed so we had a Christmas party with them last weekend. It was so fun to see Taylee opening presants. Mom had this old puppet that's furry white with a santa hat. He's always fun and a bit scary. Taylee couldn't keep her eyes off him. At first she was real nervous then she danced with him and wanted to share all her toys.

Somebody thought it'd be a good idea to bring in the kitty (almost cat). The boys had so much fun playing with her. Grandpa made a cat toy out of string and the kitty chaced the boys around then ran up the tree.

Grandma and Grandpa Griffiths came over for the traditional Christmas Eve clam chowder dinner. It was so nice to have everyone together.

Pinning

November 6th was my "Graduation" or Pinning for nursing school. I've been in pursuit of a nursing degree for forever. The last 2 years I've been commuting to Stevens Henager in Ogden. Now that winter is here again I'm especially glad that commute is over. The whole fam was there in support. We were at the Maddox Lodge in Brigham City. It was quite the celebration. Allison and I started carpooling together in March. She's grown to be a dear friend and I'm so glad to have had the chance to get to know her.

These girls far from first year. Kim, Tara, me, Redgie and Wendy. We've said from day one that when we were done with school we'd all go on a cruise somewhere. I hope we still do. These girls are my best buds from second year. Me, Allison, Kelly, Laura and Wendy.We read a nursing pledge to candle light, it was different but also nice. This is Tara, she's the person I had pin me. We had to choose someone who was already an RN. She graduated in the class before me. We had so much fun together and leaned on each other a lot through school. I've been so blessed to have made so many life long friends through the process.

I can't believe how big Taylee is getting. On the way to the pinning we sat together and shared a string cheese. I just love this girl!
